Where can I attach it?

Anywhere with the built-in keyring and clip - keys, backpack zips, purse straps, belt loops, or the car rear-view mirror. It takes about a second to clip on or off.

Is the cord going to snap?

No. The pull-string is anchored inside the body and built for repeat use. Pull it firmly and let it retract on its own - don't yank sideways - and it keeps going pull after pull.

How does it work - does it need batteries?
