How does it stick to the fridge?

There is a magnet in the underside of the round base. Press it flat against any steel surface — fridge door, wardrobe rail, locker, radiator — and the arm swings out from there. Pull it off and it stands on a desk like a normal lamp.

Does it need charging?

No. It runs on three 1.5V button cells that arrive already fitted, so it works straight out of the box. There is no cable, no USB port and nothing to plug in.

Is it bright enough to actually read by?

Yes — for one person and one page. The silver reflector focuses a small warm pool exactly where you point it, which is ideal for reading in bed without lighting the whole room. It is not meant to replace a ceiling light.

Can I choose the colour?

Not on this listing — it ships assorted from butter yellow, lavender, sage and apricot. The capybara is the same warm tan on every colour, and clips off if you would prefer the lamp plain.
